Talent management is more than a competitive advantage for businesses, and has a crucial and strategic role in human resources management. This paper begins with the explanation and the definition of talent and talent management, followed by the theoretical models and the variables required for their successful application. Coaching and mentoring are gaining more recognition in talent management, due to their effectiveness, therefore a brief summary of mentoring and coaching is presented. Afterwards, a case study of group coaching in a small private company highlights the application and effectiveness of group coaching sessions in talent management. The paper enables businesses and HR porfessionals to use group coaching effectively in talent management.
