One of the possible causes of drop out is the attractiveness of the labor market. In the life of university students, the date of employment does not coincide with the date of the degree acquisition (Bocsi, 2013). The plasticity of joining the labor market has led to the fact that today the earnings of people without a diploma are sometimes higher than those who has a degree. In this sense, the attractive effect of the labor market is even more effective (Kun, 2014). This may be due to the negative judgment of the marketability of the professions they study, which may lead to the interruption of university studies. As a consequence of student work, there are some very important questions: What are the elements of individual, demographic, social factors and the institutional environment that help or hinder the employee student in creating a balance of learning and work? What is the workload that increases the risk of dropouts? In our present study, work during university studies played a significant role in the interviewees' lives and this had an impact on their dropouts. In the qualitative research we analyzed 7 semi-structured personal interviews. This section of our research also draws attention to the fact that work during university studies is an indispensable test point for the dropout and the strengthening of the relationship between higher education institutions and the labor market is still a task to be achieved.
