Előadás absztrakt:
This study aims at discussing the use of experiential methods (especially interactive games) in teaching English vocabulary and in translation exercises. Experiential teaching is heavily based on providing direct experiences with the learning environment and the content of teaching, while it focuses on skill development, thus creating a challenge for those involved in the process (both teachers and students). In my research I was interested in the various ways experiential methods can be used for teaching English as a second language, especially in terms of developing communication skills as well as developing vocabulary through translation exercises.
