Előadás absztrakt:
The sustainability education (ESD) goals in teacher training are determined by UNESCO (1) on the basis of 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs). Considering any of these goals (e.g. responsible consumption and production, no poverty, climate action, gender equality, etc.), we can formulate three main teaching and learning objectives, the cognitive, the socio-emotional and the behavioural fields. According to our teaching experience and our research, the knowledge of the students in the field of sustainability is quite incomplete, and they have very few information about the impact of their lifestyle (e.g. consumer habits) on the environment. We believe that the first step to effective education, is sensitizing students towards the subjects of sustainability. For this reason, we organized sensitizing projects to students studying in primary school teacher training. Two group of students were participated in the project, the students of Babes Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania) and the students of Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest, Hungary). In our presentation, we plan to show the results and experiences of project and to compare the two student groups.
